Kuwait – Mubasher: Mubarrad Transport achieved a growth of 425.5% in profits to KWD 1.55 million ($5.08 million) during the first quarter of 2017, compared with about KWD 294,980 ($966,860) in the same period of 2016.

The net operating profit in Q1-17 reached nearly KWD 207,240 which is 20.3% higher than about KWD 172,230 in Q1-16, according to a bourse filing issued on Thursday.

At the stock level, Mubarrad gained 1.3% to close Thursday’s session at 78 fils.
